Dr. Engert is a licensed clinical psychologist who is passionate about working with individuals, groups, and families providing psychotherapy for children, adolescents, adults, and families and conducting psychological assessments to aid diagnoses and interventions. She specializes in children and adolescents who have specific learning disabilities, depression, anxiety, identity concerns, attentional difficulties, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and socialization issues such as peer victimization, bullying, and social anxiety. She consults for community organizations and schools on Individualized Education Plans, dealing with troubled or at-risk adolescents, bullying and victimization, ADHD and social skills, and parenting. She also divides her time between private practice and academics as an Adjunct Professor at Alliant International University’s California School of Professional Psychology in Los Angeles and as an Affiliate Faculty Member at the Graduate School of Psychology at Fuller Theological Seminary, where she both teaches and supervises graduate students. Dr. Engert earned her PhD degree at the Graduate School of Psychology at Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena.
